Hello Eleonore !

We are now at the end of our fabulous project, now “09 - 2022” for the posterity :)) .
Indeed, everything was ready when I arrived at Boesner in the middle of the morning, very well protected and conditioned for the last transfer;
Perfection is the word, in all points of view !
And in me, it's Fireworks!!!
Some photos attached, of course, with great pleasure!!!
More words later, the surf exoticizes my senses and I intensely savor this moment so dreamed, then expected!!!

THANK YOU ❤

See you very soon,
Beautiful evening to you!
Friendship

Eleonore has just left, the painting is already mounted on the frame in my house and I want to tell you that I am very happy with the way it looks.

I'm sending you a couple of photos so you can see how it looks, although it's not hung yet. When it is hung I will send you some more.

It has been a pleasure to spend this time with Eleonore, chatting and explaining things about her painting and about herself.

Thank you very much for everything. Best regards,

Teresa

We have just hung the painting and it’s magnificent!! Standing 3-4 meters from it and it looks so realistic.

Thank you Thomas and thank Eleonore from us, we are so happy!!

Kind regards

Huw & Fredrika

Hello Eleonore,

Bravo, the painting is on the wall! It looks fabulous. Our modest London living room is not worthy of the painting… but one day we will have a large, sunny living room and it will shine in there!

Many thanks for the beautiful piece of art and for your assistance throughout the process. I’ve sent it around my friends in the Bahamas! You may get a few more requests!

Catherine

Dear Eléonore,

I hope you are well, in spite of this tumult around us. Please know that I think of you often, and that your painting of the sea so blue makes sense now that I don't travel at all as much to go admire it up close. 😘🥰💗

Dear Ms Bernair,

With the given Corona situation I must tell you how overjoyed I am about having your painting in my home.

The painting came at exactly the right time this year.

As we can not travel at the moment, the painting gives me the opportunity to look at the sea, the sandy beach, the horizon, and the clear blue sky every day. What a view!

Thank you so much again.

Take care.

Dear Eleonore,

I am already buying a series of your paintings from a gallery in Brussels

What you have is beyond talent.  I've never seen anyone capture light reflection and water, sunlight and sky as you have. Not only beautiful paintings, but very uplifting and relaxing.  A pleasure to look at.

Best wishes and kind regards,

Sarah

Dear Mrs. Bernair,

Congratulations for your work. Your paintings are simply delightful.

Dear Eleonore,

Thank you again for these beautiful pieces of art.  It is an honor to have these paintings displayed in our home.  It was a pleasure and an honor being able to meet an artist like yourself.

I really enjoyed seeing the process.  It really turned into a beautiful work of art.

Thank you so much.

Pedram

Dear Mrs. Bernair,

Congratulations for your work. Your paintings are simply delightful. I live in Sicily . Last year I was in Brittany and I passed by Pont Aven and walked in Galerie Maner. I was fascinated by the colours of your seascapes: they could be and you could observe those anywhere in my beloved island.

My best regards.

Michele Ailato

Dear Eleonore,

The painting has been stretched well and it is already on the wall without any problem. It looks like a window on the sea, exactly how I wanted it to be! When you look at it for a while it looks real…

Max Morini

Damn, what a painting!

very free and clever. Full of maestria and nonchalance,

Congratulations! Very impressed! (again...)

It seems entirely natural to feel fascinated when looking at Eléonore Bernair's seascape paintings. In an instant, a kind of magnetic pull catapults the viewer deep into the mystery of the powers of nature and at the same time high into altitudes where one easily believes to hear the magic buzz of heaven. The elements of nature seem to be bursting of energy, yet there is a supernatural air around, as if not from this world. The song of the wind and the roll of the sea mix with the whisper of legends of the myths of creation, a sensation that appears to be deeply woven into every centimeter of the paintings. Someone who could not see Bernair's seas might be bewildered about such broad words and possibly suspect them to be from the late nineteenth century, but no, i am writing them right now and these paintings are modern. In fact, very modern. Well - timeless. And now, that you see them, I guess you agree that Eleonore Bernair´s proud statement of reality can cope with even the biggest stage: That´s what is. It´s all yours. Love it! Hyperrealism is the name of this genre of painting. Hyper, because of its intensity, realism, because it appreciates just what there is - a worship of the here and now.

Very modern, because as much as Bernair's work visibly integrates tradition, it also seems to point somewhere ahead in time, as art should do, revealing schemes of the shape of the plant that time seeds right now. Tradition refers also to history of painting, and in this case one is reminded of the rich technique and opulent aesthetics of symbolist and preraffaelite painters of the nineteenth century, but right, instead of pathetic stories of tragically failed loves or dead heroes, all victims of fate, in Bernair's imagery there is not a single trace of human intervention. She offers her universe pure, no personal hangup wants to bias the viewer. He will always be the first human to discover it again and again, virgin and complete at the same time. The world is mine - I am responsible! That is indeed very a modern statement. And a statement of autonomy. This way, it is the painting that counts, the making of it, the burning of the brushtip when it touches the canvas. No mental concept to illustrate, no smart idea that wants to convince or even teach the viewer. Here, painting is not servant of an analytic mind or a sentimentally straying soul, it simply stands for itself. Intention, image, feeling and technique, all do the same.

Yes, of course, solid figurative oil painting requires that you know what you are doing. And when you want it to be humming of that magnetic electricity you also need to really feel what you are doing. No doubt, Bernair knows very well what she is doing. All through her life, she dedicated herself to drawing and painting with deep commitment, thoroughly studying mainly traditional approaches. As usual in figurative painting, after miles of experience, the so called moment of takeoff comes, that is the moment, when all the borrowed experience of generations of painters melt together to a new autonomous form of expression, that of your self. Looking at this, in Eléonore Bernair’s paintings I claim to discover a painter of unusual magnitude: on one side a daring masculine brushstroke, a determination in approach that can make most guys look poor, a smart, no fuzz handling of her tools. On the other side a velvety softness of tone and mix and a deeply feminine sense of poetry, the furies and fairies always seem to dance above the waves. Every drop of water seems alive. Reality with feeling. Well, there is only one way to really feel what one is doing. It is love.

Sometimes. It’s not that often I’m afraid. It should be more frequent. But sometimes when I get that little extra moment in the house to breath a little in between work and family stuff I get to reflect on your most beautiful work for us to date. The seascape is extraordinarily beautiful. It gives me immense pleasure. From me to you, thank you again.

Dear Eleonore,

we received the painting last friday and we love it!

Dear Elenore,

I was introduced to your beautiful art a few weeks ago. My husband and I were drawn to the beautiful artwork. WOW! I just looked through your seascapes and you are an incredible incredible artist. Your works are amazing. I was completely drawn into them and they looked so real ... like i was right there in front of the sea. I wanted to touch base, congratulate you on your work and let you know how special your work is.

Hello Mrs Bernair,

I have just had the joyful task to open your parcel with the painting . It is terrific and overwhelming. My worries about the rough surface in one spot were unfounded. It is PERFECT!!

Thank you for putting your talent into my dream.

It was a pleasure to be in contact with you even if it was just via mail. Thank you again.
